Pairing with Bluetooth
®
devices
Pairing occurs when two Bluetooth devices
communicate with each other and establish a
connection. A record of information about this
connection is then stored in the memory of
each device. Once you pair a device with the
SoundLink
®
Mobile speaker II, you should not
have to pair it again.
The SoundLink
®
Mobile speaker II can pair
with up to six Bluetooth devices. However, it
can only connect to, and play audio from one
device at a time.
• Press to turn the speaker on or off.
• Press and hold to check the battery level
(see “Checking the battery” on page 18).
• Press to select the source connected to the
(AUX) input. See “Adding another
source” on page 16.
• Press to select the Bluetooth
®
source. The
speaker attempts to connect to the last
paired device. See “Pairing with Bluetooth
®
devices.”
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to set the
speaker to discoverable mode and allow
pairing with another Bluetooth
®
device.
• When a device is connected, press to
disconnect the device. The speaker then
waits for a paired device to connect.
• While the Bluetooth
®
source is selected, if
no device connects within 30 minutes, the
speaker turns itself off.
• Mutes sound from the speaker.
• Plus (+) increases volume, minus (–)
decreases volume. The front panel source
indicator flashes once for each button press.
The indicator flashes twice when maximum
or minimum volume is reached.
