RemovingGrassCatcher
• Liftthe rear discharge door on the mower.
• Liftthe grass catcher up, out of the slots in the
handle bracket assemblies.
• Reinstall the plastic rear baffle.
• Release the rear discharge deer.
WARNING: Never operate the mower
Jnless the hooks on the grass catcher are
_eated in the slots on the handle bracket
assemblies, and the rear discharge deer rests
firmly against the top ef the grass catcher.
ConvertingtoSideDischarge
• Your mower has been shipped as a mulcher. Te
convert itto a side-discharge mower, lift the
mulching plug. Slide the two hooks en the side_
discharge deflscter under the hinge pin en the
mulching plug assembly. Lower the mulching plug.

• De net remove the side mulching plug at any time,
even when you are not mulching.
