Important
¶ Depending on the title, some DVD discs may not support
repeat playback.
¶ Repeat playback cannot be performed during PBC play-
back of Video CDs. To enable repeat playback, start play-
back without displaying the menu screen (page 29), and
then perform the repeat play operation.
¶ If the camera angle setting is changed during repeat play-
back, the repeat playback will be canceled.
Chapter/track repeat
Performs repeat play of one chapter or track.
1. During the playback of the chapter or
track you wish to repeat, press the
REPEAT button so that the [Repeat
Chapter] indicator appears.
¶ For Video CDs and music CDs, [Repeat Track] will be
displayed.
¶ To stop repeat playback, press the CLEAR button. Re-
peat playback mode will be canceled but normal disc
playback will continue.
Title repeat
Performs repeat play of one title.
¶ For Video CDs and music CDs, the entire CD is consid-
ered a single title, with the result that the entire disc will
be repeated.
1. During playback of the title that you wish
to repeat, press the REPEAT button so
that the [Repeat Title] indicator appears.
¶ To stop repeat playback, press the CLEAR button. Re-
peat mode will be canceled, but normal disc playback
will continue.
All repeat (for DVDs)
Repeats all titles on disc.
¶ This function is enabled only when the [TITLE PLAY
MODE] in the ADV. SETUP menu is set to [All] (page 55).
1. During playback, press the REPEAT
button so that the [Repeat All] indicator
appears.
¶ To stop repeat playback, press the CLEAR button. The
repeat mode will be canceled, but normal disc play-
back will continue.
A-B repeat
By selecting a start point (A) and an end point (B), repeat play
can be performed of the section between the two points.
¶ Sections less than 2 seconds in length cannot be repeated.
1. During playback, press the RPT A-B
button at the desired starting point (A) of
the section to be repeated.
¶ Press the CLEAR button to cancel the start point (A).
2. When playback reaches the desired end
point (B) press the RPT A-B button again.
¶ To stop repeat playback, press the CLEAR button. The
repeat mode will be canceled, but normal disc play-
back will continue.
