Changing from 10 Color mode
❏ When not using only the Metallic Silver for three months

or more:
Select 9 Color. One Cleaning cartridge is required.
❏ When not using both spot color inks for three months
*
or more:
Select 8 Color (Unfixed). Two Cleaning cartridges are required.
Changing from 9 Color mode
❏ When restarting the use of Metallic Silver:
Select 10 Color. One Metallic Silver ink cartridge is required.
❏ When White is not used in addition to Metallic Silver for one
*
month or more:
Select 8 Color (Unfixed). One Cleaning cartridge is required.
Changing from 8 Color (Unfixed) mode
❏ When restarting the use of only the White ink:
Select 9 Color. One White ink cartridge is required.
❏ When restarting the use of both spot colors:
Select 10 Color. One White ink cartridge and one Metallic Silver ink cartridge are
required respectively.
* The standard period assumes the following usage conditions:
❏ The power always remains turned on.
❏ Monthly number of operating days: 20.
