are lodged in the
edge guide, PF
roller, paper guide
unit, or paper
eject drive unit.
Turn the knob and check if the paper
feed mechanism is normally
functioning.
Remove the foreign
objects.
The PF motor is
defective.
Check if the resistance of the motor
coil is as follows;
10 Ω ± 10% at 25 °C per phase
(Refer to Table 5-1.)
Replace the PF motor.
The top edge of the
loaded paper is not
properly positioned.
The PF roller
surface has micro
pearl of the glossy
film and doesn’t
grip paper
properly.
Check if micro powder is remaining on
the PF roller.
Clean the PF roller.
Symptom : The printer detects paper size incorrectly.
The printer prints
beyond the printing
area.
CR PW sensor is
defective.
Load the paper and check the Pin 24
and Pin 25 on the CN21 for the change
in the signal HIGH and LOW.
