1. Lock the chain - push hand guard forward.
To rotate the chain - pull hand guard against front
handle.
2. Your chain will have alternative left and right hand
cutters. Always sharpen from the inside out.
3. Keep the angle lines of the file holder parallel to the
line of the chain and file the cutter back until the
damaged area (side plate and top plate) has been
removed.
4. Hold the file tipped 10° upward.
5. Sharpen the most damaged cutter first and then take
all the other cutters back to the same length.
• Properly filed cutters are shown below.
A : Top plate angle 30°
B : Side plate angle 85°
C : Top plate cutting angle 60°
D : Depth gauge 0.64 mm
NOTE
These angles are referred to as Oregon 21BP and
Carlton K2L saw chains.
For other branded saw chain, follow it’s chain
manufacturer’s instruction.

• Richtig abgefeilte Schneidzähne sind der Darstellung
zu entnehmen.
A : Winkel der oberen Platte 30°
B : Winkel der Seitenplatte 85°
C : Schneidwinkel der oberen Platte 60°
D : Räumzahn 0.64 mm tiefer
1. Kette feststellen - Kettenbremshebel nach vorne
drücken.
Kette weiterbewegen - Kettenbremshebel gegen den
vorderen Handgriff zurückziehen.
2. Ihre Kette hat rechte und linke Schneidezähne.
Immer von innen nach außen schärfen.
3. Feilenhalter parallel zu Kette halten und die
Schneidzähne feilen bis die obere Platte und
Seitenplatte keine Riefen mehr aufweisen.
4. Die Feile schräg 10° zur Kette halten.
5. Den am stärksten abgenutzen Schneidzahn zuerst
feilen und anschließend alle anderen Schneidzähne
auf die selbe Länge abfeilen.

1. Bloccate la catena - spingete in avanti il salvamano.
Per ruotare la catena - tirate il salvamano contro
l’impugnatura anteriore.
2. La catena possiede taglienti destri e sinistri. Affilate
sempre dall’interno verso l’esterno.
3. Tenete il portalima parallelo alla linea della catena e
affilate il tagliente finché la zona danneggiata
(spoglia laterale e superiore) non è stata rimossa.
4. Tenete la lima obliquamente 10°.
5. Affilate prima il tagliente più danneggiato poi affilate
tutti gli altri alla stessa lunghezza.

Oregon 21BP oder Carlton K2L.

die Anweisungen des Herstellers der jewellingen
Kette.
