C. Using the .112-40 × .250" screws, flat
washers, and lock washers provided, mount
the Insulation Barrier Mounting Clips to the
Glass Poly Insulation Barrier as shown.
D. Using the .164-32 × .312" pan lock screws and
flat washers provided, mount the Glass Poly
Insulation Barrier Assembly to the Trip Unit
Support Clips. Note that the Mounting Clips are
positioned between the Support Clips and the
Trip Unit.
E. Remove the Trip Unit Cover and install the
Rating Plug provided with the Retrofit Kit.
Reinstall the Trip Unit Cover.
F. Install the Digitrip Nameplate on the top of the
Trip Unit.
Step 8: Installing the Trip Unit Assembly
A. Using Drilling Plan “B”, drill two (2) .312" holes
in the Breaker Bottom Front Channel.
B. After raising the front of the Breaker to provide
adequate clearance, use the .250-20 × .750"
bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts
provided to mount the Trip Unit Assembly to
the Breaker Bottom Front Channel as shown.
