Enters global configuration mode.

Enters NTP configuration mode.

update-calendar
Configures the system to update its hardware clock from the
software clock at periodic intervals.

• When you issue the end command, the system prompts
you to commit changes:

session, and returns the router to EXEC mode.

returns the router to EXEC mode without
committing the configuration changes.

changes to the running configuration file and remain
