Connecting to a device equipped with HDMI input
This player is compatible with 480i/480p/720p/1080i
signals.

Connect HDMI equipment to the HDMI
terminal of this player.

Press MODE repeatedly so that “
HDMI
”
appears on the LCD.
The LCD is ready to display pictures from the
equipment connected to the player.
Notes
• Refer to the owner’s manual of the connected equipment as
well.
• When you connect the player to other equipment, be sure to
turn off the power and unplug all of the equipment from the
wall outlet before making any connections.
• HDMI is an evolving technology, so it is possible that some
devices may not operate properly with this player.
• If you place the player near a tuner or radio, the radio
broadcast sound might be distorted. In this case, place the
player away from the tuner and radio.
• The output sound of the player has a wide dynamic range.
Be sure to adjust the receiver’s volume to a moderate
listening level. Otherwise, the speakers may be damaged by
a sudden high volume sound.
