Using the
countdown
timer
You can set the player to sound beep
after a preset period of time, which is
useful as a kitchen timer, etc.
1 Press POWER to turn on the player.
2 Press ALARM.
The time display flashes.
3 Press TUNING•TIME
SET + or – to display the
time (1 to 60 minutes) for
the alarm.
4 Press VOL + or – to
select the volume of
the alarm.
The alarm sounds at
the selected volume.

HI high
5 Press DISPLAY•ENT MEM to turn on the
countdown timer.
After the preset period of time, the alarm will
sound for about 1 minute.
To stop the alarm
Press any button on the player.
