Using other functions
To enjoy more powerful bass
sound (MEGA BASS Function)
You can enjoy a powerful bass-boosted
sound.
The following operations can be done with
the buttons on the main unit or the supplied
earphones with remote control.
Press SOUND to select “BASS ” or
“BASS .” “BASS ” is more
effective.
Note
If the sound is distorted when emphasizing bass,
turn down the volume.
G-PROTECTION function
The G-PROTECTION function has been
developed to provide excellent protection
against sound skipping while jogging. This
function provides a higher level of shock
protection than the traditional one.
While jogging, be sure to hold your VIDEO
CD player with the OPEN switch facing
upward.
There is no ON/OFF switch of the
G-PROTECTION function on this VIDEO
CD player and its remote control. You can
always enjoy high quality CD sound using
the G-PROTECTION function.
Note
Sound may skip:
– if the VIDEO CD player receives stronger
continuous shock than expected,
– if a dirty or scratched CD is played or
– when using poor-quality CD-Rs or
if there is a problem with the recording device
or application software.
To select an item number 10 or more using
the wireless remote control, press 10 first,
then the corresponding number buttons.
Examples:
For 12: 10, then 1 and 2
For 24: 10, then 2 and 4

Repeat step 2 to program the
remaining tracks.

“PGM” stops flashing and the tracks you
have chosen play in the order you
specified.
To cancel PGM play
Press PLAY MODE (P MODE) until “PGM”
disappears.
To check the program
During programming:
Press REPEAT/ENTER (RPT/ENT) before
step 4.
During PGM play:
Press PLAY MODE (P MODE) repeatedly
until “PGM” flashes, then press REPEAT/
ENTER (RPT/ENT).
Each time you press REPEAT/ENTER (RPT/
ENT), the track number and the playing
order appear in the order you specified.
Notes
When you finish entering the 64th track in step 2,
the first selected track appears in the display.
If you select more than 64 tracks, the first
selected tracks are erased.
