Radio operation
Manual station selection
1. Press the button POWER
t
. The currently selected
frequency is shown in the display.
2. Press the button UP
s
to raise the frequency.
3. Press the button DOWN
s
to lower the frequency.
Automatic station search
You can have the kitchen radio search for stations.
The kitchen radio searches the frequency range until
it finds a station.
1. Press the button POWER
t
.
2. Keep the button UP
s
pressed down for two
seconds: the kitchen radio searches for the
station with the next highest frequency.
3. Keep the button DOWN
s
pressed down for two
seconds: the kitchen radio searches for the
station with the next lowest frequency.
Repeat these steps until you have found a radio
station to your liking.
Programming stations
With the buttons 1-6
r
you can save 60 radio stations.
1. Press the button POWER
t
.
2. Find a station as described in the section
"
Automatic station search
".
3. Press the button MEMORY SETTING
u
. "MEM"
blinks on the display.
4. Press one of the buttons 1-6
r
, to which you
wish to save the station.
Press the respective button once for the first me-
mory position (e.g. 1x button
1 for memory posi-
tion 10). Press the respective button twice for the
second memory position (e.g. 2x button
1 for
memory position 11).
5. Press the button MEMORY SETTING
u
once more.
The station is programmed.
To recall saved radio stations, in radio modus
press the respective button (
1-6
r
) repeatedly
until the number of the memory position appe-
ars on the display.
AMS (Automatic Memory System)
With the AMS function the radio searches automati-
cally for radio stations and saves them to the memory
positions
1-6
r
.
Switch the radio on using the button
POWER
t
.
Hold the button
MEMORY REVIEW/A.M.S.
a
pressed
down for two seconds. The kitchen radio automati-
cally searches for the next station and saves it.
The station search can be stopped by pressing
the button
MODE SETTING
i
. The last tuned
frequency is played.
If you wish to start the AMS function from a certain
frequency, programme in the start frequency by
pressing the buttons
UP/DOWN
s
.
Hold the button
MEMORY REVIEW/A.M.S.
a
pressed
down for two seconds. The kitchen radio now
automatically searches for the next radio station,
beginning at the starting frequency, and saves it.
Note:
Only the next 10 stations will be saved to the
memory button that was last pressed. To save
the next 10 stations, select another memory
button and then continue the AMS function
from the last saved frequency.
If you wish to recall the saved radio stations, press
the button
MEMORY REVIEW/A.M.S.
a
during radio
operation. The kitchen radio plays every saved posi-
tion of the last pressed save-button for five seconds.
Press the button

to stop the review.
Adjusting the volume.
Press the button AL1/VOL+
f
during radio
operation to increase the volume.
Press the button
AL2/VOL-
d
to reduce the volume.
Lock function
You can lock the kitchen radio so that settings cannot
be altered by unauthorised people or children.
Press and hold the button
MEMORY SETTING
u
.
A key symbol appears on the display.
To disable the lock function, press and hold the
button
MEMORY SETTING
u
until the key symbol
extinguishes.
