Before You Begin
Back up your data
As with any portable device that has a hard drive, you must back up the drive regularly.
RCA and Thomson are not responsible for lost data.
Caution
The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion, or
chemical burn if mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above
100ºC (212)F), or incinerate.
Do not place the battery under direct sunlight or in excessively hot
places over 45ºC (113ºF) such as the dashboard of car.
Charges with specified charger which is packaged with the product.
Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from children. Do not
disassemble and do not dispose of in fire.
Your THOMSON product is designed and manufactured with high quality
materials and components which can be recycled and reused.
This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment, at their end-of-
life, should be disposed of separately from your household waste.
Please, dispose of this equipment at your local community waste collection/
recycling centre.
In the European Union there are separate collection systems for
used electrical and electronic product.

Important Battery Information
Charge the unit for at least 3 hours before first use.
Charge the unit for at least 3 hours after putting away the unit for a long time.
