The sound converter serves to convert ACT
voice les to WAV. Furthermore, you can
listen to as well as control MP3 and WAV
les with the integrated player.
To convert a voice le, click Open, select the
ACT le and then click Convert.
Click Exit to exit.
Firmware upgrade
To transmit new rmware (the software of
the player) to the appliance you will need
a spacial tool. You will nd this software on
the CD. For further installation instructions,
p. 32.
Select SYS>Firmware-Upgrade in your V-
Box and press the Mode button to conrm.
Connect the player with the USB interface
of your PC and start the program START >
PROGRAM FILES> MP3 Player UTILITIES
3.11 > MP3 Update Tool.
Do not remove the player during
update.
Click Select new rmware le and select
the rmware le in the following dialogue.
To start the upgrade click Begin upgrading.
After the upgrade is nished the display
shows:
