5. Within 10 seconds, press the MEM/CLOCK SET (15) to move to the year
setting. Use the press TUNING UP/DOWN/SKIP
button (7) to
set the year.
6. Within 10 seconds, press the MEM/CLOCK SET (15) again to advance to
the month and day setting.
7. Use the TUNING UP/DOWN/SKIP
button (7) to set the month
and day.
8. Press the MEM/CLOCK ADJ (15) button one last time to finalize the
setting.
Display brightness
1. Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (1) to cycle the display backlight
through bright, medium, dim, and off. Discussed in more detail later.
Using the radio
1. Press the ON/STANDBY button (11) to turn the unit on. If the radio does
not begin playing, press SOURCE button (10) to select AM or FM radio.
2. Use the TUNING/SKIP UP/DOWN
button (7) to tune the radio.
There are two tuning modes. You can hold either SKIP button down until
you reach a particular frequency. Or, you can press either SKIP button for
1 second and then release to have the radio automatically seek the next
receivable station.
3. Radio reception is strongly influenced by antenna placement. Tune in
your favorite AM or FM station and position the respective antenna for
best reception.
Storing favorite stations for easy access
1. Tune to an AM or FM station that you wish to add to your favorites.
2. Press the MEM/CLOCK SET button (15) and within 6 seconds, press the
PRESET button (23) 1 to 10 times to choose location 1 to 10 to store the
station on, and, within 6 seconds press the MEM/CLOCK SET button (15)
to store.
3. Repeat the above process to store up to 10 AM and 10 FM favorites.
