3 DC jack Connect the optional cigarette lighter power
adapter into this jack on the back of your
radio.
4 PROG./MEM. button Press to program radio station presets. For
more information, see “Programming radio
station presets” on page 11.
5 FM ST. button When listening to an FM station broadcast in
stereo, press this button to switch between
STEREO and MONO.
6 FUNCTION button Press to select the play mode. You can select:
• WB–Weatherband radio
• CD–CD player
• TUNER–Radio
• AUX–External audio device
7 OPEN/CLOSE button Press to open and close the CD tray.
8 Battery compartment Insert two AAA batteries into this
compartment. Your radio uses the batteries to
save your settings when your radio is not
connected to another power source. You
cannot use the batteries to power your radio.
9 VOLUME buttons Press to increase or decrease the volume.
10 EQ button Press to select the equalizer mode. You can
select CLASSIC, JAZZ, ROCK, or POP.
11 MEM UP button Press to go to a higher preset station.
12 MEN DN button Press to go to a lower preset station.
13 REPEAT button Press to repeat a CD track or an entire CD.
14 PLAY/PAUSE button Press to pause CD playback. Press again to
resume playback.
15 STOP/BAND button If you are listening to a CD, press to stop
playback.
If you are listening to the radio, press to select
the AM or FM band.
