Canadian Channels: Channel designations as defined by the
International Telecommunications Service,
(ITS).
Duplex: Transmit and receive on different frequencies.
FM: Frequency Modulation

PTT: Press-To-Talk switch
RF: Radio Frequency
RX: Receive
Simplex: Transmit and receive on the same frequency.
Squelch: To suppress background noise.

TX: Transmit
