Understanding the Music File System
With the Treó 10, you can store your music
quickly, then find it easily.
You can scroll through genres, albums, or
tracks until you find the particular selection
you want. For more information about navi-
gating folders, see “Browsing Your Music” on
page 31. The e.Digital Music Explorer soft-
ware included with your player allows you to
organize your files. For more information
about managing your files, see “Adding Music
to Your Treó 10” on page 17.
What Is a Genre?
A genre is a category of music. A genre can be
any set of albums that you choose to group
together based on music style, artist, etc. You
can choose from any of the genres in the juke-
box to play.
What Is an Album?
An album is a group of music tracks. An
album can correspond to a compact disc or it
can be a collection of tracks that you choose
to group together. You can select any album
within a genre to play.
What Is a Track?
A track is an individual music file. You can
select any track within an album to play.
