18 How to Use and Enjoy Your Treó 10
Make sure that you already have
the Music Explorer and
MusicMatch software installed
before you actually connect the
USB cable from your Treó 10 to
your PC. For more information
on installing the software, see
“Installing Music Explorer” on
page 3 and “Installing
MusicMatch” on page 6.
Connecting the USB Cable
Use the USB cable packaged with your
Treó 10 to connect the player to your PC. For
more information on the location of the USB
port on your Treó 10, see “What’s On My
Treó 10?” on page 10.
The Treó 10 must also be
connected to the external power
source for the USB connection
to work properly. For
information on connecting the
external power source, see
“Charging the Battery” on
page 2.
Once you’re finished
transferring music, be sure to
disconnect the Treó 10 from
your computer’s USB cable.
Some computers try to boot
from peripheral devices. If the
player is connected before you
start up your PC, your computer
may attempt to boot from it.
