cabinet
Mark 5-l/8” and 5-7/a” in from bock wall
along the centerline on underside of
cabinet. Use these points as centers to
draw 7-l /8” circles on underside of cabinet.
Use a sober saw to cut the openings for the
ductwork. Repeat for the underside of the
top of the cabinet. This will create slotted
openings.

To transition from a 3- l/4” x 10” rectangular
duct to a 7” round duct and vent through
the roof -
Start by making a 4” x 1 O-l /2” rectangle on
the underside of cabinet bottom:
a.
Mark lines 1” and 5” from the bock wall
on the centerline of the underside of
cabinet.
Now, make a 7-l /8” x 7-5/a” slot on the
underside of the cabinet top:
b.
Mark lines 5-l /4” to the right and left of
the centerline on the underside of
cabinet.
c. Use sober and keyhole sows to cut a
rectangular opening for duct.
b.
Mark lines 5-l /4” to the right and left of
the centerline on the underside of
cabinet.
c. Use sober and keyhole sows to cut a

Repeat steps

for the underside of
the top of the cabinet.
If venting through the wall with 3- l/4” x 10”
rectangular duct -
To make a 4” x 10-l /2” rectangle in the wall:
a.
Measure from floor 65-7/a” and 62-3/8”
(or l/8” and 3-5/8” down from underside
of cabinet) and mark on the centerline
on the bock wall.
b.

the centerline on the underside of
cabinet.
