GTS12 ELECTRIC GRIDDLE TEFLON WRAP KIT
TEFLON WRAP KIT CONTAINS:
• Two (2) stainless steel machined rods.
• Three (4) stainless steel tension springs.
To install the wrap kit onto the platen, perform the following steps:
1. Clean off platen using soft cloth, water and mild soap solution.
2. Lay Teflon sheet on clean flat surface.
3. Install two(2) stainless steel rods (one for each side) through the loops running along each
side of the Teflon sheet.
4. Lift platen partially up and align the Teflon sheet centering it within the platen surface.
5. Pull the Teflon sheet up and around the top surface of the platen.
6. Strap minimum two(2) stainless steel tension springs across the top of the platen by placing
them from one side to the other through the rods (look for groves in rods, hook the springs in
place at these points).
7. Platen and Teflon kits are now ready for use.
CARE AND CLEANING OF TEFLON WRAP:
1. In between cooking runs and during idle periods Teflon sheet should be wiped off with water
and a clean soft cloth.
2. After each day the Teflon sheet should be removed from the platen(s), disassembled and
placed in water with mild soap solutions (no abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners should be
used). Gently wash both sides of the Teflon sheet and the hardware with the soft clean cloth in
the mild soap solution.
3. Using water, rinse the Teflon sheet and hardware thoroughly on both sides.
4. Dry the Teflon sheet and hardware using a clean soft cloth.
5. Before reassembling the Teflon sheet (see wrap installation instruction) to the platen, clean
the platen as described in Care and Cleaning section.
