Messaging Settings
Setting Message Notification Display
You can set your phone to display an icon and message
notification or just display an icon notification when you receive
a text message, picture message or voicemail.
1. Select > Settings > Messaging > Notification.
2. Select Msgs and Icon or Icon Only.
Tip: To access Messaging settings menu, you can also select >
Messaging > Settings.
Editing Preset Messages
Your phone can store preset messages for use with text
messaging. You can edit your phone’s default preset messages
through the Settings menu.
1. Select > Settings > Messaging > Pre-set Messages.(The list of
preset messages is displayed.)
2. Select the message you want to edit and press .
3. Use your keypad to edit the message and press OK(left
softkey) or to save your changes.
Note: To reset all messages, press Options (right softkey) >
Reset All Msgs > Yes
during step 2 above.

Erasing Preset Messages
1. Select > Settings > Messaging > Pre-set Messages.
2. Select the message you want to erase and press Options (right
softkey).
3. Select Erase> Yes.
