Wi-Fi Status Indicators
The following icons show your Wi-Fi connection status:
Displays when Wi-Fi is connected, active, and
communicating with a Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Displays when Wi-Fi is active and there is an available
open wireless network.
Displays when a Wi-Fi Direct connection has been
made to another compatible device in the same direct
communication mode. For more information, refer to
“Wi-Fi Direct” on page 120.
Wi-Fi Advanced Settings
The Wi-Fi settings - Advanced menu allows you to configure many
of your device’s Wi-Fi services, including:
Setting your Wi-Fi sleep policy
Viewing your device’s MAC Address
Configuring use of either a DHCP or Static IP
To access the Bluetooth Settings menu:
1. From the Home screen, tap
Settings

2. Press then tap
Advanced

Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you can
transfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection.

See your service plan for applicable charges for Wi-Fi Direct.
