Operating this unit’s iPod function from your iPod
This function is not compatiblewith the following
iPod models.

1 Press 4/iPod/AUDIO to switch the controlmode.
! CTRLIPOD – This unit’s iPod function can be
operated from the connected iPod.
! CTRLAUDIO – This unit’s iPod function can
be operated from this unit.
2 When you select CTRL IPOD, operate the con-
nected iPod to select a song/video andplay.
! Switchingthe control mode to CTRL IPOD
pauses song/video playback. Operate the iPod
to start playback.
! Thefollowing functions are still accessible
from the unit evenif the control mode is set
to CTRL IPOD.
! Fast forward/reverse
! Track up/down
! Switchingthe text information
Enhancing compressed audio and restoring rich
sound (advanced sound retriever)
1 Press 1/S.Rtrv/DVD MENU to cycle between:
OFF (off)—1—2
1 is effective for lowcompression rates, and 2 is
effective for high compression rates.

When the video output is set to on in the initial
