C Load the laundry

Unfold the laundry and load loosely
in the drum. Mixing both large and
small items gives better wash results
and also helps distribute the load
evenly during spinning.
To protect multi-layered garments
with particularly fine outer layers
from damage, always use a washing
bag.
To save energy and water, try to load
the maximum for the programme
selected.
However, be careful not to overload the
machine. Overloading reduces the
wash result and causes more creasing.
D Close the drum and the inner lid
^ First press the front, then the rear
drum flap until both hooks clearly
engage.
,Failure to observe these
instructions may cause damage to
the machine and to the laundry.
^ Clean the roller on the left-hand hook
of the drum flap regularly to ensure
smooth operation.
