Multi-stage cooking
Theappliancecanperformtwoprogrammesincontinuationofeachother,e.g.a
defrosting and a cooking programme.
1. Settherstprogrammenormally(asinstructedinthesectionsabove),butdo
notcommencecookingbypressingthe”Start/+30Sec./Conrm”button.
2. Settheotherprogrammenormally.
3. Oncebothprogrammeshavebeenset,pressthe”Start/+30Sec./Conrm”
buttontocommencemulti-stepcooking.
4. Theappliancewillcarryouttherstprogrammefollowedbythesecond.The
displayshowstheremainingcookingtimeforeachprogramme.Onebeepis
sounded, when the appliance changes to the second programme.
NOTE:Ifyouwishtousethedefrostingprogrammeaspartofamulti-stage
programme,itmustalwaysbetherststage.Theautomaticprogrammescannotbe
usedaspartofamulti-stageprogramme.
Timed cooking
Youcansettheappliancetostartcookingatagiventime.Itisimportanttoensure
thattheclockontheapplianceiscorrectlyset(seethesectionSettingtheclock
above) when using this function.
1. Settheprogramme/programmesnormally(asinstructedinthesectionsabove),
butdonotcommencecookingbypressingthe”Start/+30Sec./Conrm”button.
2. Pressthe”Clock/Pre-set”button.Nowsettherequiredtimeforthecookingto
begin:
a.Thedisplayshowstheactualtimeandthehourdigitswillbegintoash.
b.Turntheselectorbuttontosetthehours.
c.Pressthe”Clock/Pre-set”button;theminutedigitswillbegintoash.
d.Turntheselectorbuttontosettheminutes.
3. Pressthe”Start/+30Sec./Conrm”buttontocompletethetask.Thedisplay
switches to showing the clock.
4. When the selected time is reached, two beeps are sounded and the oven starts
the cooking.
IMPORTANT!Thisfunctionshouldnotbeusedtogetherwiththedefrosting
programmes.
IMPORTANT!Thereisnovisibleindicationontheappliancethatithasbeenpreset
toautomaticallystartatanygiventime.Hence,youshouldmakesurethatothersdo
not inadvertently remove the food or replace it with other food.
CHILD SAFETY LOCK
Thechildsafetylockpreventssmallchildrenfromusingtheappliance.The
appliancecannotbeoperatedaslongasthechildsafetylockisactive.Thechild
safetylockisactivatedbyholdingthe”STOP/CLEAR”buttondownfor3seconds.
Alongbeepwillbeheard,andthedisplayshowsalocksymbol.Todeactivatethe
childsafetylockagain,pressandholdthe”Stop/Clear”buttonfor3seconds.The
symbol will then disappear from the display.
TIPS FOR FOOD PREPARATION
When preparing food in the appliance, the following basic rules apply:
Cooking time
Smallerquantitiesoffoodcookmorerapidlythanlargequantities.Iftheamountof
food is doubled, the preparation time must correspondingly be more than doubled.
Smallpiecesofmeat,smallshandchoppedvegetablescookmorequicklythan
large pieces. For the same reason, it is recommended that if, for example, you wish
to make goulash, stews or similar, the meat should be cut into pieces no bigger than
2 x 2 cm.
Thecompactnessofthefoodisalsoveryimportantforthecookingtime.Themore
compact the food is, the longer it takes to cook.
