3. Ensurethefollowing:
A. Patient’skneesaresecureagainstthekneepad.
B. Patientʹsfeetarepositionedonthefootplate.
C. Thebottomedgeofeitherthestandingslingispositionedonthelowerbackorthe
transportslingisatthebaseofthepatientʹsspine.
D. Thepatientʹsarmsareoutsideofthestandingortransportsling.
E. Therearcastersareunlocked.
F. Thelegsareinthemaximumopenposition.
ƽ WARNING
If transferring from a wheelchair, the wheelchair wheel locks MUST be in the locked
position before lowering the patient into the wheelchair. Otherwise, injury may
occur.
4. Iftransferringfromawheelchair,lockthewheellocksonthewheelchair.Referto
Detail“B”.
5. Presstheuparrowbuttontoraisethepatientabovethesurface(bed,wheelchair,or
commode).Thepatient’sweightwillbefullysupportedbythestanduplift.Referto
Detail“C”.
NOTE:Thelowercenterofgravityprovidesstabilitymakingthepatientfeelmoresecureandthe
lifteasiertomove.
NOTE:Theliftarmswillstayinpositionuntilthedownarrowbuttonispressed.
