3. Movethebedinastraightlineaboutthreefeetbackwardorforwardtolock.

NOTE:Thisactionwillkeepthecasterfromswivelingandallowbetterforwardandbackward

movement.Thebedcannowbemovedwithgreaterstability.

4. Pushthebedfromthefootend.

ƽ WARNING

Ensure that all four casters are locked and that the bed does not move before

transferring. DO NOT transfer occupant if bed is not stable.

NOTE:Thelockingfunctionholdsthebedmotionlesswhenthebedisparked.

1. Stepdownonthebackofthecontrolpedaloneachcaster.

Adjusting Bed Rail

Make sure side rails are securely locked into position. Otherwise, an injury or

accident may occur.

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 2.4onpage18.

NOTE:Headendsiderailsarelocatedoneachsideofthebed.Siderailshaveathree‐position

verticaladjustment.

1. Toraiseorlowerbedrail,grabtopsectionofrailwithonehandwhilepullingthe

releaseknobwith

theotherhand.

2. Pullbedrailupordownasrequired.

3. Allowthereleaseknobtospringbackintolockedposition.
