Windows System Requirements
To use your printer and its software, your system should have:
■ A Microsoft Windows compatible PC with a Pentium
®
or better processor, 200 MHz or faster,
recommended
■ A computer running Windows XP Home or Pro Edition with Service Pack 1 or Windows 2000
with Service Pack 4
■ Windows-compliant USB port and a shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long
Caution: Using an improperly shielded USB cable—especially a cable more than 6.5 feet
(2 meters) long—may cause the printer to malfunction.
■ 64MB of RAM (128MB or more recommended)
■ 150MB of free hard disk space (200MB or more recommended)
■ VGA or better display adapter and monitor
■ CD-ROM or DVD drive for installing the printer software
Macintosh System Requirements
To use your printer and its software, your system should have:
■ An Apple

series or Power Macintosh

G3, G4, or G5, PowerBook,

■ A Macintosh running OS X 10.2.8 to 10.4.x, with a built-in USB port and a shielded USB “AB”
cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long.

■ 128MB of available RAM; more recommended
