● Attaching
Toattachthehood,alignthehood’sattachment
positionmarkwiththereddotonthefrontofthe
lens,thenturnthehoodasshownbythearrow
untilthelens’reddotisalignedwiththehood’s
stop position mark.

● Removing
Toremovethehood,holddownthebuttonon
the side and turn the hood in the direction of
thearrowuntilthepositionmarkonthehood
alignswiththereddot.Thehoodcanbereverse-
mounted on the lens for storage.
● Ifthehoodisnotattachedproperly,vignetting(darkeningoftheperimeterofthepicture)mayoccur.
● Whenattachingordetachingthehood,graspthebaseofthehoodtoturnit.Topreventdeformation,donot
grasp the rim of the hood to turn it.
