Using as earplugs (Quiet Mode)
You can use the Noise Canceling function to get peace and quiet.
Connect the supplied headphones to the player and set the NOISE
CANCELING switch to the direction of the arrow .
Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu
appears.
Press the /// button to select (Settings), and then press
the button to conrm.
Press the /// button to select “NC Settings,” and then press
the button to conrm.
The list o
f “NC Settings” options appears.
Press the /// button to select “NC Modes,” and then press the
button to conrm.
Hint
If the player is connected to external audio devices through the supplied audio input
cable, you can switch to “External Input Mode” by pressing the button.
Notes
While using “External Input Mode” or “Quiet Mode,” the screensaver does not activate.
Instead, the screen dims after certain period passed.
