The ordinary playback screen is displayed when you have not
used any controls for a specified period of time.
ON Animation screen appears when you have not used any controls
for a specified period of time.
1) You can set this up only while the player is stopped.
2) The TEXT option cannot be set for Audio CDs. For CD-Extra CDs, you can select the TEXT option when
“CD-EXTRA” is set to “ON.”
3) The item “AUTO” is displayed in the same language that you selected for the “LANGUAGE” - “MENU”
options.
4) Depending on the model you purchased, “G-PRO” is displayed on the remote.
5) AVLS is an abbreviation for the Automatic Volume Limiter System.
6) This function works only for ATRAC CDs.
7) If the supplied remote is RM-MC53L, the LCD backlight does not light. Check the model number on the
remote.
8) This function does not work for Audio CDs.
9) This function works only for Audio CDs and CD-Extra CDs.
Notes
• Even if “G-PROTECTION” is set to “2,” sound may skip:
– when the CD player receives stronger continuous shock than expected,
– when a dirty or scratched CD is played, or
– for CD-Rs/CD-RWs, when a poor-quality disc is played or there is a problem with the original recording
device or application software.
• Even if “SEAMLESS” is set to “ON,” the tracks may not play continuously depending on how the source
music was recorded.
