Whenevertheradioisturnedoff,thebattery
indicatorwillflashforaboutfivesecondsto
showbatterycondition.
Iftheindicatorfallsbelow#2,the4MAIN
"D"sizebatteriesshouldbereplaced.
NOTE
Whenthe"MAIN'batteriesbecomeex-
hausted,themicro-processorwillautoma-
ticallybepoweredbythe"BACK-UP"
batteries.
Whenthedisplayonthemicro-processor
beginstofade,replacethe3"AA"batteries
inthe"BACK-UP"circuit.Duringbattery
replacementmakesuretheLockSwitch(26)
isinthelockedposition().Thiswill
preventanymemorypresetsfrombeinglost
duringthebatteryreplacement.Battery
replacementshouldbecompletedwithin2
minutes.
