System Set up
SPDIF Output
This item is used to set the format o
f
digital audio. ‘SPDIF OFF’ turns off the digital
audio; ‘SPDIF/RAW’ outputs the original. For example, if the disc being played is
Dolby Digital, then the digital audio output is also Dolby Digital. Select ‘SPDIF/PCM’
when you connect with a 2 channel digital stereo amplifier.
Captions
You can choose captions on or off on screen during playback.
Screen Saver
When activated, the screen saver automatically works if there has been no operation
for a period of time.
Dolby Digital Setup
Dual Mono
The function is used to set the output mode of channel left/right, stereo and mixed
sound.

Use this item to adjust linear dynamic compression rate to get different signal compression
Speaker Setup
Downmix
Select “LT/RT” in DOWNMIX, then the player will output mixed audio in a way prescribed
by Dolby. Select “Stereo”, then the
player will output a stereo signal.

Sharpness
Use this item to adjust sharpness setting.
Brightness
Use this item to adjust brightness level.
Contrast
Use this item to adjust contrast level.
