1 ALARM RESET - to stop the active alarm for 24
hours.
2 SLUMBER - to activate slumber time.

RUN - To return to clock time display after
setting clock/alarm time.
ALARM - To adjust/review the alarm time.
TIME SET - To adjust clock time.

R - To adjust the hours for the clock and alarm
time.

IN - To adjust the minutes for the clock and
alarm time.

SLUMBER OFF
/ REPEAT ALARM
- to switch off slumber.
- to stop the active alarm for a 9 minute period.
5 Display - To show the hours, minutes and
activated alarm
6 BAND - to select FM-MW(LW) wave range.
7 VOLUME - for adjusting the volume.
8 TUNING - to tune to radio stations.
9 RADIO - to switch radio mode ON/OFF.
0 ALARM:
OFF - to switch off alarm.
RAD (io) - to activate radio for alarm setting.
BUZ (zer) - to activate buzzer for alarm setting.
! Battery door - for mains backup battery.
@ Mains lead - for mains supply.
# Pigtail aerial - for FM reception

Check if the mains voltage as shown on the type
plate on the base of the set corresponds to your
local mains supply.

Connect the mains plug into the wall socket. The
mains supply is now switched on and the
numbers on the display will start to flash. You
will need to set the correct time.
3.
To disconnect the set from the mains completely,
withdraw the mains plug from the wall socket.
For users in the U.K.: please follow the
instructions on page 2.
You can use the clock radio solely as a radio.
1.
Set the RADIO switch to ON.
2.
Select your wave range using the BAND switch.
3.
Use TUNING to find your radio station.
4.
Adjust the sound with the VOLUME control.
5.
To turn off the radio, set the RADIO switch to OFF.
To improve radio reception
For
MW (LW)
, the set is provided with a built-in
aerial which to function best should be placed on
a non-metallic surface e.g. wood, plastic. Direct
the MW (LW) aerial by adjusting the position of
your clock radio.
For
FM
reception extend the pigtail aerial at
the back of the set completely to obtain
optimum reception.
Clock display
The time is displayed using the 24-hour clock
system.
Important!
When setting the clock alarm time, for accurate
hour and minute adjustment always make sure
you press the H
R
and M
IN
buttons separately
and not simultaneously.
