OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED)
During playback, depress and
hold either the TIME/TUNING/
SKIP/SEARCH
n or o button to
move the player forward or
backward within a track to locate
a specific musical passage. The
player will move forward or
backward at high speed as long
as the button is depressed. When
you release the
TIME/TUNING/
SKIP/SEARCH
n or o button,
normal playback will resume.
During playback, press the TIME +/
TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH
n button
once to advance the player to the
beginning of the next track. Press
the TIME +/TUNING/SKIP/
SEARCH
n button repeatedly to
advance the player to higher-
numbered tracks.

During playback, press the TIME -/
TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH
o button
once to move the player back to the
beginning of the current track. Press
the TIME -/TUNING/SKIP/
SEARCH
o button repeatedly to
move the player back to lower-
numbered tracks.

FORWARD/REVERSE SKIP TRACK AND HIGH-SPEED MUSIC SEARCH ( / )
To play the tracks on the CD in a
random order, press the ALARM/
MODE/MEM+ button while in the
Stop mode; “RANDOM” will
appear in the display

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p)/
POWER ON button and the
tracks will play in a random order.

To stop and cancel Random
playback, press the STOP (■)/
TIME SET/POWER OFF button
once, the unit will stop the
random playback and "RANDOM"
will disappear from the display.

RANDOM PLAYBACK
To hear the first 10 seconds of
each track, press the ALARM/
MODE/MEM+ button twice while
in the Stop mode; “INTRO” will
appear in the display.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p)/
POWER ON button and the first
10 seconds of each track will
play.

To stop and cancel INTRO
playback, press the STOP (■)/
TIME SET/POWER OFF button
once, the unit will stop the intro
playback and "INTRO" will
disappear from the display.
