Preparing the radio for use
Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
1. Open the Velcro fastening on the underside of
the pillow and take out the battery compartment

2. Open the battery compartment

on the under-
side of the radio by loosening the screws with a
cross slot screwdriver.
3. Insert 2 batteries of the type AA/LR6/Mignon
into the battery compartment

. Ensure that
the batteries are inserted in accord with the
diagrammes in the battery compartment
a
.
5. Close the battery compartment
a
and firmly
tighten it with the screws.
6. Place the ON/OFF switch

into the position
“ON”.
7. Pack the battery compartment

back inside
the pillow and close the Velcro fastening.
Note:
To be able to operate the radio at its full output
power: always replace both batteries.
Radio operation
1. Press the button POWER

3. To search for a radio station, press the button
SEEK

. The station search starts, moving on
to the next higher sender.
Press the button SEEK

repeatedly, until you
have found the desired radio station.
Note:
When the station search arrives at 108 MHz, the
search starts again from the beginning (87,5Mhz).

to restart the search from the beginning.

Improving radio reception
The radio is equipped with a built-in antenna. Turn
the radio until the reception of the tuned radio station
has optimised itself.
