PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
This CD player has a 19 track programmable memory system that allows you to
program up to 19 tracks on any CD. You can select only the tracks that you want to
hear and have them play in any order you want to hear them. The same track can
be programmed to play several times if desired.
NOTE : Programming can only be done when the player is in Stop mode.
1.) Press the PROGRAM button. The PROGRAM indicator
appears and Program Memory number 1 flashes in the
display.
2.) Press the FWD or REV buttons to select the first track
to be programmed. (Example: Track 3) The selected track
number flashes.
3.) Press the PROGRAM button again to enter track 3 into Program Memory
number 1. The display will momentarily show Program Memory number 1 and
then return to the flashing track number display.
4.) Press the FWD or REV buttons to select the next track to be
programmed. When the selected track number is flashing press the PROGRAM
button again to enter the track in Program Memory 2.
5.) Repeat Step 4 until you have entered up to 19 tracks in the program memory.
6.) Press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The PROGRAM indicator
begins flashing and playback will begin on the first
programmed track.
7.) After all programmed tracks have played the player stops and the display
shows the total tracks on the disc. The PROGRAM indicator remains 'On' and
the program remains in the memory. Press the PROGRAM button and then
the PLAY/PAUSE button to repeat the programmed sequence. If you press
only the PLAY/PAUSE button, playback will begin on track 1 as usual but
the PROGRAM indicator remains 'On'.
To clear the program memory, open the CD door, switch from CD to Tuner function,
or shut the Power 'Off'. You cannot cancel the Programmed Playback mode by
pressing the STOP button.
