Time Alignment
Optimizes system response by manipulating the arrival times of sounds from various speakers positioned in different
locations to arrive at a listeners ears simultaneously, creating better imaging. Initial adjustment starts with selecting a mode.
Access E-iSERV from a personal computer to start audio customization with 3 independent processes.
Crossover
The data from the two
customization procedures above
can then be downloaded to the
users computer where it can be put
on a Memory Stick which can then
be inserted into the CD Receiver.
Allows selecting the frequency points where one speaker components response crosses over to another driver.
The goal is to achieve a smooth, natural response across the entire frequency spectrum, without speaker discontinuities.
Parametric EQ
In Time Alignment Pro mode,
delay time and level values for
each speaker can easily be set
one by one.
In the Time Alignment
Easy mode window,
the process is
simpler, with vehicle
type such as sedan,
compact, SUV etc.,
tweeter and rear
speaker positions to
select.
In the Crossover Pro mode
window, speaker cutoff
frequencies and slope settings
can be selected for a system
comprising full 3-way multi
component speakers as well a
4-speaker plus subwoofer
system.
Allows selecting the
subwoofer and the
frequency at which it
comes into operation.
In Parametric EQ Pro
mode, each channel can
have 10 frequency bands
for adjustment 5 each for
front and rear speakers
and 5 each for high and
low frequencies.
In the Parametric EQ
Easy mode window, 7
frequency bands
across the entire
frequency spectrum
for each channel can
be adjusted.
Defeats a cars interior acoustic anomalies that cause significant peaks and dips in the overall
frequency response with precise equalization control that can pinpoint problem frequencies.
The optimized parametric EQ settings can now be downloaded onto a Memory Stick which
again can be inserted into the CD Receiver that automatically makes the necessary changes.
Now the users car optimization process is complete.

Once the CD Receiver has
received the data it will run a
frequency analysis. This data
is then downloaded to an MS
so that it can be sent to
E-iSERV via a PC.
