Step 1:
Connecting the cables
Choose the setup that matches the ports on your TV or receiver.
To connect a widescreen TV with an HDMI port:

Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the back of your TV.

Connect the other end to the back of Apple TV.
If your TV’s HDMI port is being used by another device, or if your TV doesn’t have an
HDMI port, you can connect to Apple TV using component video and audio.
