0 I have the manual and it is NO HELP to why the clock is so hard to see!!

0 The LED is not backlit.. A cheap product. If you know someone with electronics experience, they can add a couple of white LED's just in front of the LCD time display so you can see it better at all times... Not simple, but doable.
