Why wont this product turn on? I followed the dire...

Why wont this product turn on? I followed the directions on holding the power button for 3 seconds, and it still didnt want to turn on.I charged it, pushed the power button in the OPPOSITE direction and it turned on. I looked at the batteery and it sayed it was full then it shut off again. how do i turn this thing on?!
