let it drain out it's battery for a while. the screen should be able to turn off. once turned off, plug in the device either via usb computer or via usb charger and it should automatically turn on with the 3 charging options 1. Power and Data 2. Power and Play 3. USB Charge If the screen doesn't turn on automatically when the device is connected, try switching the power while it is plugged in. I had this problem for almost a week so i hope this solves your problem.
