5 Uniden should recall all these products and refund money of purchase...too bad if emergency communication was required..or maybe it already has, who knows we wouldn't have heard it!

3 Uniden Tech said sometimes this works. HOLD Scan & Memory buttons WHILE OFF. Turn on, let go. Turn OFF again. Turn on normally and see if it has cleared. Didn't for me but they told me to send it in and they would fix it. Worth a try.

1 Im a merchant sailor working with handhelds of different makes on an almost daily basis.
FiX: try increasing the squelch from 00 to 01. It should remove the static noise radios.

Cudos to the companies that made these radios. In my honest opinion it just means they have great reception.

0 thanks but did not fix it either we have several these radios at our company and they said they carnt be fixed they r throwing them in the bin as rubish so dont think we be buying more as we use these types radios for shuting on our locomotives we have 47 loco on four shifts roster one for each loco per shift that lot radios in the bin so were not inpressed at mackay sugar with uniden hand held radios there been crap from the start 150 wagons away and there out range

0 hold scan and memory buttons etc worked for me after three attempts

0 I have the same issue ? i have 8 handsets i purchaed for a business and all now have the busy signal. they are currently sitting on a shelf collecting dust as it seems no one knows how to fix this problem. I will NEVER purchase a uniden product again - I simply don't trust the brand anymore.

0 I follow the instruction hold the scan button and the memory button while the radio was off and turn it on when the screen is on flashing press the call button the busy indicator will disappear but the problem the same thing cannot received signal to the other radio of mine only transmit is working I run out of patience for this radio uniden uho065sx help pls..would be appreciated thanks....

0 Replace the ceramic filter on the circuit board  with the part number CQ33-455D or similar
