After working beautifully the other day, my UX70 appeared to have a totally flat battery, and so I inserted a new one. It started to load, but the bar stopped a fraction from the end and just froze. I have tried a different battery; I've tried leaving it without a battery for a while; I've pressed every button possible...but nothing. I can read the data when it's plugged into my computer. But basically it's frozen. Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

5 Your problem sounds exactly like the one I was having. I didn't manage to get the fix it myself. Fortunately, the centre that services Sony products here in Adelaide, South Australia, repaired it under warranty (I had purchased it in Thailand only a few months earlier). The repair docket states that the "Proc PCB" was replaced (specifically the "SVX Main Mount Assy (1G EKR)". I haven't had any further problems with it. (Is your model under warranty?) Good luck. - Merrilly

0 Did you manage to solve this as I have 2 now that are doing the same. I cured one by deleting the voice files off but the other just stops one pixel from fulling starting and won't work
