Turn Off the Alarm?...

The alarm had been inadvertently set and I don't know how to unset it. The paper manual that came with it is very unclear on how to set or unset the alarm. I cannot figure it out. Please send me an email with a step by step procedure on how to unset the alarm. patsyhodgins@gmail.com Thank you
