Question About Sony MP3 Player RDR-VX530

i mistakenly turned the progressive scan mode and my rca television is not 480p. now i get no picture from the rvx530.it wont even allow me to return to the system menu,i only get "unusable signal" how do i reset the system or turn off progressive wnen i cant see what im doing?
