5 I had the same issue with the outdoor sensor, and even did the "reset" trick using a paperclip on the clock AND the remote sensor, all with no luck. What solved the problem was removing the batteries from both the sensor and the clock, getting "known-good" batteries (i.e. a new pack that I could pretty much assume were good), and re-installing the batteries: FIRST IN THE SENSOR, and then in the clock. As soon as I put the good batteries in the clock, the LED on the sensor came alive, which it had never done before. This was the first sign that I had solved the issue. Now...it could've been just changing the batteries, however, I did notice, when I changed the batteries in the sensor, that the contacts on the negative side (the little spring that touches the negative side of the battery) didn't seem to be making a direct connection; when I installed the new batteries, I made sure the contact between the spring and the batteries was solid. This may have been the cause of the problem, or it may have just been faulty batteries. In either case, the clock/outdoor sensor is working now. And I'm good with that...

0 Thanks Steven! I followed what you did and installed the batteries first into the sensor, and then the clock, and now its finally able to communicate with the sensor. Thanks!
