My iphone 3GS is getting connected and charged whe...

My iphone 3GS is getting connected and charged when docked on ihome iD91 but it is not able to play the ipod music. When i dock it, the music is still being played by the iphone speaker but not by the ihome speaker. Also when i dock my i-pod classic, its working fine, with my ihome speakers able to play the music in the ipod.
