Question About Sanyo Handheld TV DS27425, DS32225
Setting Captions MANUALLY WITHOUT REMOTE?...

I have Sanyo a remote control that doesn't work with the DS32225 model. Batteries were new, just is not operational. Caption button is only on the remote. In tv, under menu options, can't locate how to set up captions. How can I do this without the remote function? From: mary@dia54.com

1 I bought a 2nd hand TV without the original remote and watched captions for a month before I found a cheap universal remote with a reset button. I programmed my code into it, hit reset and the caption menu appeared on the TV screen, which I turned off! Finally I see the whole picture. I researched this online and with service and I wasn't too happy at the prospect of buying a replacement remote from Sanyo for $35 when I only paid $50 for the TV.
